If you’ve forgotten your password and have an active Visa Debit Card, you can reset your password by selecting ‘Forgot your Username or Password?’ on the BOS Internet Banking login page.

If you’ve forgotten your password and don’t have an active Visa Debit Card, please contact our customer service team on 13 95 00 (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm AEST) to receive a new password.

As a Personal Internet Banking customer you can register your primary device via the mobile banking app. Registering your device isn’t mandatory until you increase your daily transfer limits above the default limits.

Registering your device allows you to login to your mobile banking app via PIN, fingerprint or face ID. On the other hand, for any transaction authorisation you’ll no longer receive a SMS code; instead, you’ll receive a push notification on your registered device to authorise your transactions.

Please note: changing your number/SIM card doesn’t affect your registered device and you can continue using the same mobile device even if your number changes.

You need to click on ‘Forgot Password or login with another user’, then enter your login credentials including your login password. Once logged in:

  1. Go to ‘User’
  2. Then ‘Manage My Device’
  3. Click on the current device
  4. Click on the modify PIN
  5. Enter a new PIN, submit and authorize

Prize Determination  The draw will take place at 62 Pitt St Sydney NSW 2000 on 30 September 2024 at 11am AEST. The draw will be transparent and allow each entrant a fair chance to win. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid or ineligible entrant is drawn.  
Notification   Winners will be notified by telephone and email within seven (7) days of the draw, and their names will be published online at www.banksyd.com.au/promotion from 7 October 2024. 
Claim Period  Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take a prize (or an element of the prize) by 21 October 2024, then the prize (or an element of the prize) will be forfeited. 
Unclaimed Prize Determination  A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 22 October 2024 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. If an entrant wins the prize, the promoter will take all reasonable efforts to identify, locate and contact the winner before deciding a redraw of the unclaimed prize is completed due to inability to contact the winner.
  11. The Promoter reserves the right to request that a winner provides proof of his / her identity, residency and / or age prior to awarding a prize.  Identification, residency and /or age considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.  In the event that the winner cannot provide suitable proof, in the timeframe required by the Promoter, the winner will forfeit the Prize and no substitute will be offered.
  12. Incomplete, illegible indecipherable or incorrect entries, or entries containing offensive or defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third party rights (including intellectual property rights) are invalid.

  16. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take a prize (or an element of the prize) by 21 October 2024, then the prize (or an element of the prize) will be forfeited.
  17. If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
  18. The total prize pool value for this promotion is AU$5,000.
  19. A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 22 October 2024 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners, if any, will be notified by telephone and email within two (2) business days of the draw, and their names will be published online at www.banksyd.com.au/promotion from 28 October 2024.
  20. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
  21. The promoter will be keeping records of the promotion for at least 5 years including entries, prizes, publication of winners, evidence of prizes being awarded, all receipts and disbursements, financial accounts, books, documents, statements, reports or any other information in connection with the promotion. These records may be requested by any relevant authority at any time.
  22. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
  23. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic or any other kind of disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend, substitute or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.

  25. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
